What is Holiness?

Submitted by John on Fri, 02/17/2012 - 6:05pm

What is holiness???

Not all people who go to church their whole lives are holy.

Not all people who say they do things in Jesus name are holy.

I don't think as people we can definetly say who is holy and who is not - to a certain extent.

I believe its a matter of the heart between you and God.

Praise You In This Storm

Submitted by Glen on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 10:28pm

What To Do - When We Face Storms / Trial / Challenges

As we know, life can get very busy and usually when we are busy we will face obstacles that may cause us trouble, personal pain and sometimes exhaustion.  Below, are some verses from the Christian band - Casting Crown's song "Praise You In This Storm" that I pray will help all of us when we endure storms.

Now I'll praise You in this storm

and I will lift my hands

You are who You are, no matter where I am

Every tear I cry, You hold in Your hand

You never left my side

And though my heart is torn

I'll praise You in this strom

I lift my eyes to the hills

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord

The maker of heaven & earth.

Thank you Jesus for getting us through every storm.

Amen.

Be Strong In The Lord...

Submitted by Stacey on Fri, 01/27/2012 - 6:49am

Let the mighty strength of the Lord make you strong. Put on all the armor that God gives, so you can defend yourself.

                                                         -Ephesians 6:10-11.

The Lord loves what is right and does not abanden His faithful people, He protects them forever.

                                                             -Psalm 37:28.

Good morning everyone!

Was just reading & theses verses spoke to me, thought i'd share them with you.  Its great to remember even when things seem hard, our God is stronger, & bigger than any problem we come up against.

Praise God!

LOVE

Submitted by Stacey on Sat, 08/27/2011 - 4:49pm

Romans 12:9-21.   9Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. 14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn. 16live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of lower position. Do not be conceited.  17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. 20On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.  In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."  21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.       God Bless!    Stacey  :)

As far as the east is from the west,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
